Με LIVE κάλυψη αποκαλύφθηκαν οι φετινές υποψηφιότητες της 88ης απονομής των κινηματογραφικών βραβείων Οscar, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Dolby Theater του Λος Άντζελες .
Τις φετινές υποψηφιότητες ανακοίνωσαν οι John Krasinski, Guillermo Del Toro, Ang Lee και ο πρόεδρος της αμερικανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου Cheryl Boone Isaacs.
Μεταξύ των ταινιών που διεκδικούν φέτος το πολυπόθητο χρυσό αγαλματίδιο των κινηματογραφικών βραβείων της αμερικανικής Ακαδημίας κινηματογράφου, είναι “Η Επιστροφή” του Αλεχάντρο Γκονζάλες Ινιαρίτου με τον Λεονάρντο Ντικάπριο στο πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο, “Η γέφυρα των κατασκόπων” του Στίβεν Σπίλμπεργκ με πρωταγωνιστή τον Τομ Χάνκς, αλλά και η ταινία “Carol” του σκηνοθέτη Τοντ Χέινς με τις Κέιτ Μπλάνσετ και Ρούνι Μάρα.
